As of right now, Riley had not heard of any deals being made over bearclaws, especially the ones topped with almonds, and so he followed after Liam-- holding his own chai cup in his hand before he slid into the chair right opposite. The window had a view though with the ever present mist, it gave the shape of the street outside but barely above roof level.

He'd never lived in a place where this entire mist was so cloying.

Though he was not going to reach first for the bearclaw, he decided to open with a question of sorts. "Have you lived here all your life?" he said with a tilt of his head to indicate the world outside the window.
