The absolute worst idea that could have ever blossomed between them and yet he could not help but be only slightly curious. Perhaps it would be nothing, just a kiss. In fact he was convincing himself that it was all that it could be-- just a kiss like the kisses he'd traded in his youth. "Only a kiss."
It could not go further, a kiss was not truly a world turning experience, it was not sex in all of it's forms-- it was not even making out. He could not allow it to flutter beyond a kiss, and he thought it would be easy, but those slightly melancholy eyes? They pulled to him with their aria of sadness.
