Liam's eyes widened. For all that he'd been the one who asked for it, he hadn't really expected that he'd ever be lucky enough for Riley to actually agree to it. Even if it was just a kiss.
That magnetic pull he felt towards the priest seemed to surge all the stronger, a deeper knowing than could be attributed to human consciousness. Whatever it was, it knew that this man was who he was meant to meet. Liam pushed that thought aside and sat up straighter, turning his body to face the other man.
"Only a kiss," Liam agreed, voice unexpectedly breathless, a small flicker of hope surfacing in dark eyes -- a wholly foreign thing for him these past years. His hand found its way to cup against Riley's cheek once more, this time urging him closer even as Liam leaned in.
