Nicholas Kirkland (Nicky to those who he considered friends) was at this moment finishing up the last of his reading for his college classes. In the little dorm-room that himself and Patrick shared, it was a muddle of books and random objects that they'd collected. Not only that but also bits and bobs of their friendship tied into neat little nostalgic notes.

The last rays of the sun was streaming in through the window and he was poised, feet crossed on desk and balancing barely on the back two legs-- precarious yes, and honestly he knew that he should not really be doing this. Coordination be damned, he'd never worried about it before despite the bumps and bruises he regularly got because he was perennially distracted.

It was almost time for Patrick to come home from his late evening classes and then they'd start their foraging for dinner.

After that, well the evening was still young and there was trouble to be had. All of which he looked forward to, after all Patrick had for as long as he remembered, been his favorite partner in crime.. they had grown up together and they had a special bond.

As close as brothers, except not quite-- and honestly? Nicholas was glad for that.

Take that incubus possession. You're nothing in the face of starcrossed lovers being kept apart for lifetime after lifetime finally reuniting. They were so swept up in each other, in the physical and the emotional piece of it, that the rest of the world had fallen away entirely.

Trick found himself utterly in love with the way that Nicky's voice sounded like this, roughened and breathless and halfway into a moan. Now, granted, he loved the way that Nicky sounded generally, could listen to him ramble on about anything, so he was predisposed to it. But this was clearly different. And his Nicky was apparently a screamer. Trick was not at all disappointed by this discovery.

His own climax was not far behind, half a second after Nicky groaned, Trick was burying himself inside him, a hard thrust before his entire body went taut, hips jerking as he spilled himself inside the other man, painting his passage white with his seed and staking his claim on him again and again, his own voice breaking on a cry of Nicky's name.

He managed to hold himself up and not just flop onto Nicky, though his head did fall forward to rest his forehead against his lover's. "Yeah... fuck..."

Whatever, Nicholas Kirkland wanted to be as inundated by his lover as possible. Thus he wiggled and shifted so that he could better accomodate Trick there on the shower floor with him, but in such a way that Trick would be able to slide out organically. Yeah, that was good.. very good and he echoed that sentiment with a mrrrh of pleasure while he pulled Trick close.

"I regret to inform you that I am addicted to you." he said this with a muffled voice against a jawline.

"The next course of action is to be stuck to you like glue." which he also had no issue with, but this reinforced the belief that Trick would not be going into the seminary, at least not unless the priesthood started to allow marriage gay or otherwise.

"Is that the plan? I can get behind that." He could very much get behind that, because nothing in him had any desire to allow Nicholas out of his arms any time in the near future. They'd already been attached at the hip to the point where everyone who knew them assumed they were an item anyway. Now that they actually were? Bets were off on how all attached they could manage to be.

Patrick Leary was never going to be a priest. The only thing that had tempted him towards the seminary was the thought that he'd at least have a direction for his life and a reason for never confessing to his best friend how desperately he was in love with him.

But here they were, confessions made, feelings returned, a tangle of limbs and sexual exhaustion on the floor of the shower. "We should probably actually get cleaned up now... before the water goes cold on us."

"Yeah, definitely." Nicky said with a sheepish smile and a stolen kiss before he attempted to peel himself up off the floor of the shower. He was only a little bit uncertain if he could though, what with the hit to the head and also maybe the fact that he felt built like a wet noodle.

Just throw him against the shower wall, all the gluten released from that railing would have him sticking in no time, certified al dente.

"Mmmmm so keeping my hands off of you may be a problem." If they did not watch out, Trick would get exhausted and pass out-- not a fate that Nicky wanted to come pass.

His cock though? It had other ideas.

That sheepish smile, the kiss that followed. Something in Patrick melted. He stole another kiss before drawing back with a shake of his head. "You are so beautiful it's infuriating." How was he supposed to live his life with Nicholas Kirkland in the world being attractive and adorable and his own personal temptation made flesh?

He moved to stand then, reaching a hand down so that he could help Nicky to his feet -- aware that his boyfriend did not possess much balance at the best of times, never mind after they'd just gone at it like fucking horny rabbits on the shower floor.

A laugh rang out at what Nicky had to say. Was that a warning? A threat? Trick was all for it. ...even if it killed him. "Oh no how terrible for me. Woe. Misericordia." He deadpanned at him before stepping in closer to crowd Nicky right back under the spray so they could actually get to the washing off. "You might have to fuck me next time though. Might take a bit for me to wake little Trick back up to play again."

Nicholas was easily crowded to underneath the shower spray to get washed off of their rather pleasant exertions, turning to get his own hair properly wet. But he was a talker, invariably so and as he heard the last bit he let out a good natured scoff. "Little Trick? I can assure you, there is nothing little about them, Sweetheart." in the same tone that Trick called him baby.

See, two could play at that game.

"But yeah, you are extremely attractive and fuckable and I'm going to have to exert as much self control as I can however, and honestly I'll take you however I can get you.. you will find that I am not very picky about how I get you as longa s I get you."

Once he had Nicholas under the shower spray, he reached for the shampoo and started to work it through his lover's hair, humming, quite pleased with himself. Then Nicky went and said that to him, and called him Sweetheart, and Trick could feel himself starting to flush. How dare he, truly.

"Flatterer..." he teased lightly, fingers deliberately massaging at his scalp now.

Though self control was going to be a whole thing really, because between Nicholas "fuck it we ball" Kirkland and the incubus possessing him? No chance that was going to last long at all. And Patrick, well, Patrick was all for sexual escapades with Nicky, but preferably not to the point where one of them was fucked quite unconscious.

Self-control was obviously a construct made for people that were not Nicholas, however the one thing that was going to teach him a thing or two was of course Trick's own fragile body complete with human trajectionary period. Though he purred right into the rubbing of his scalp, much like a cat would, he would enjoy it just as he happened to really like his calves rubbed.

That was another happy place.

Head back and just purred quite contentedly. "Not a flatterer if it's the truth, that is logic." he said this matter-of-factly.

Not Patrick Leary either. They were, the both of them, made for each other in the most horrifying way imaginable to anyone around them who cared about the wellbeing of the two idiots. Oh well. They'd made it this far.

Trick was far too charmed by the way Nicky reacted for him to be worried about much of anything. He'd discover the calves eventually too, and then he'd be unstoppable. So he did a hell of a thorough job of working the shampoo into a lather and then running his hands through gently to rinse. Then conditioner because really, Nicky's ginger hair was long and thick and Trick was particular about haircare and product, okay? This was important.

He pressed a kiss to the edge of a bearded jawline. "Oh yes, flawless logic clearly. How could I possibly argue?"

If Trick could have seen Nicholas' expression, he would've seen a rather self-contented expression especially when it came to logic and all of it's various trappings; that would be something that he would use in the future as an excuse-- logic. For now though, he would keep it to himself as they had just started dating (he assumed) and he hoped that Trick would allow for a proper date.

That is once he did not have to worry about the possibility of scandalizing waitstaff by such hedonistic behavior as probably was not done in polite company; after all it would be really hard to resist the urge to nibble on Trick in public.

A great many people were going to find out how hard it would be for him to keep his hands off his very attractive boyfriend regardless. "You know, if you also gave Jella as good a scalp massage as you are giving me right now, she'd probably be just as addicted to you as I am."

"That the way to her heart? Noted. And here I was counting on churus to be my way in." Though Trick was quite certain that Jella would always in at least some way view him as competition for Nicky's attention. They'd come to a decent truce about it for the most part, but Trick did have to wonder now that he'd be taking up space in Nicky's bed (or Nicky in his) if that would upset their careful balance.

Once he had made sure Nicky's hair was rinsed completely, he leaned in to press a kiss to the other man's shoulder. His mind had been running through their options even as he indulged in pampering his roommate a bit as they got themselves cleaned up. For however long that clean up would last.

"What do you think about going to see a priest?" He asked, quite without any segue into the query.

A priest.

There was a very careful pause at this; despite the fact that he attended a heavily religious school-- he was by no means religious. He attended Saintsmourn because his mother and father had, as well as his Uncle Graham. Patricia had attended for a time before she'd dropped out because it'd been a waste of her time,-- which arguably, left Nicholas.

In fact, one may argue the fact that he was a humanist with no great leaning either way on the spectrum of spirtuality.

"Well.. do you think a Priest will be able to do anything about it?" which was perhaps a dumb question, but for Nicholas he did not set much store by items of faith. "I will if you think it is best but you know how I feel about priests..."

"I mean, you're possessed by a demon. That's sort of right smack in the middle of the Catholic priest wheelhouse. ...the wheelhouse they pretend isn't really their wheelhouse, but it totally is."

Trick was not religious in a traditional way. Trick was, however, well aware of the presence of the demonic -- and the supernatural in general, had been since he was six or so, able to see and sense things that apparently most people did not -- and the best way to fight demonic influences was faith of one sort or another.

"Yeah, I know how you feel. But Father Riley's a decent guy, yeah? He pretends he doesn't know Jella is here at least." Which really, was a point in his favor.

A frown tugged at his lips as he added. "I think we might need help to get you free of this. Last night scared the hell out of me. You were so far gone. I thought I was going to lose you. And I can't lose you."

Okay, so Trick had a really valid point.

As far as Priests went, Riley was alright and yeah, Jella was not a quiet cat so it was truth that Riley had to know she was here; but because the guy were taking such good care of her it was evident that she was allowed to be in peace. "Yeah okay, that's a fair point. If there is anyone we can trust not to talk about this, it's probably Riley. As long as he does not get anyone else in the church involved in this-- hey, do you think we can phrase it as a rhetorical question first to sort of dip our feet in the waters?"

At the sound of Trick's concern, he bumped his head lightly against Patrick's shoulder. "I am not going anywhere.. in life or death." which meant he'd haunt Trick if anything did happen to him.

"Good idea. Float it like a thought exercise and see how he reacts." ...Riley would probably think they were weirdos, but chances were good he already thought that anyway. What did they have to lose?

Trick could try to expel the demon himself, but after last night he was certain that it had a tight hold on Nicky, and he'd never pulled a demon out of someone. Like yeah, sure he managed to clear a possessed object once or twice, but Nicholas was not an object and at least one of those objects had not precisely survived its impromptu exorcism.

He turned towards him at that bump to his shoulder, moving to wrap his arms around the other man securely. "Good. You're not allowed to." Trick would follow him across life and death if he had to. "C'mon. Let's get dried off and dressed and we can hopefully catch Riley before he starts his morning rounds." It was, after all, still very early.

It would've made a terrific science experiment to Nicky's line of thought but it had a rather large chance that it could 'unalive' him which while he would not have minded previously (there were risks to science) but he'd just discovered Trick as a boyfriend and he was very reluctant to let go of that. The fates would have to pull Trick out of his grubby ink-stained hands, that was for sure.

A kiss to the cheek, lodged with wholesome intent before he followed Trick right out of the shower where they could get dressed. He found a very constricting pair of briefs that he'd gotten as a Christmas gift by his Nana Gertie (who did not believe in fun when it came to presents, as opposed to his Grandmother on his father's side, whom when alive, had gotten him things like a lab kit and a train set), yeah he could not think sexy thoughts wearing Nana Gertie's undies, disaster avoided.

One of Trick's oversized hoodies were thrown on though, because it smelled like Trick. That may defeat the whole purpose of unsexy underwear. But did Nicky make it easy on himself? No, absolutely not.

No, no science experiments that involved risking Nicky's life, please and thank you. Patrick did not have many lines he'd draw, but that was one of them, the drawn indelibly sort that would never be erased.

Trick threw on clothes -- less tactical than Nicholas, since he didn't have the same, ah, pressing concerns that his boyfriend did. He spent a minute or two in front of the mirror, running his hands through still damp hair until it was its usual deliberate mess before glancing over to see Nicky in his hoodie.

Oh. Why did that do funny things to his heart? Trying to ignore the insistent pitapat that was thrumming away in his chest, he grabbed up his keys and held a hand out to Nicky. Hand holding? On the short walk to where Riley's residence supervisor quarters were?

Nicholas Kirkland wasted absolutely no time in taking that hand offered to him, as if it was some sort of glorious prize that had been hard earned but no less treasured.

Their first hand-holding out in public where anyone could see, this was a milestone to end all milestones.

And why did it cause a shiver of giddy thrill to skirt right up Nicky's back? Maybe it was the fact that he felt like a fucked up sexy incubus disney princess who had just found their knight in shining armor. Cue the 'when you wish upon a star' music.

It was a milestone, and Patrick was trying to play it cool that he was holding the hand of the person he'd been head over heels in love with since before he knew what falling in love actually was. He slipped his fingers through Nicky's securely, giving a little squeeze before leading him down the hallways.

It was early enough that they only passed a few other students, but at least a couple of them were people that knew them and gave them something of a knowing look that Trick did not bother trying to hide how smug he was about it.

Eventually they made their way to Riley's door, and Trick glanced briefly at Nicky before lifting his free hand to know.

Inside the room, Liam, curled up warm and comfortably in a certain priest's arms, grumbled quietly and burrowed in closer, muttering something about 'too early, we're not open yet.' No one needed antiques this early, and he was too sleepy to put together that he wasn't in his own bed.

And Nicholas Kirkland soaked it all up, the touch of fingers and the knowing looks-- he was just as smug, if not more so-- that he had such a handsome boyfriend who put up with his nerd-butt quite willingly. It was scarcely a few moments before they found each other in front of Priest Walsh's room and with Trick knocking; did he lean in a bit closer because Trick's natural energy was warm? Of course he did.

Now Riley was indeed in the room and with Liam tucked within the circle of their arms.

They had gone to sleep after a bit of washing up, and Riley rather thought that Liam was intending to sneak out in the early hours of the morning. Except the sun was peeking in through the half-cover of linen curtains, shedding it's rays on Liam's hair and giving it a deepened chocolate hue. He pressed a kiss to a forehead, then almost instantly his eyes shot open in abject surprise.

Yeah right, he had a job, and his job was to be available to the dorm residents whenever they needed. Granted it was a saturday, but students had needs even on a saturday. He lightly shook Liam and then murmured quietly. "Love, I have to answer that-- you have to hide." hoping upon hope that he could fit Liam in the closet with all the stuff that he hadn't had a chance to unpack yet.

Nicky leaning in closer was fine by Trick, thanks. Part of him hoped that once they shook the incubus out of him, that he'd discover that Nicky was still a fan of being close and touching and making out. Because Patrick was definitely a huge fan.

He glanced over at Nicky after knocking, listening for the sound of movement behind the door. Was Riley already gone? But no, after a moment he heard something. Leaning close, he murmured to Nicky, "I think we woke him up."

Liam hummed a pleased sound at the touch of those lips to his forehead, dark eyes slowly blinking open, bleary and taking their time focusing even as he smiled, a quiet murmur of, "I like it when you call me love--" And then the rest of what Riley said registered and it was Liam's turn to be adrenaline rushed straight into wide the fuck awake. Right. The dorms. Riley was a priest. He had meant to be up and out before dawn but he couldn't remember the last time he'd slept so soundly and he just--

"Right. Yes. Hiding." He cast around, grabbed up a shirt (it was Riley's shirt, but whatever) and booked it for the closet which was, well, a precarious fit, but he could probably make it work, right? Just gonna perch, pull the door shut, hold his breath and hope for the best.

That was one thing that Trick did not have to worry about, and it was that Nicky would outgrow this cuddling and making out thing. There was not a chance in hell that he would do so, he had dreams and imaginings of just this before the entire Incubus thing set in-- this just brought it all to the forefront at an alarming speed.

Give Nicholas a couch and a willing Trick and he would find his hands in various places, also mouth and teeth and possibly dick.

There was rustling, he could hear it as well and so he leaned in as well to press his ear, and he distinctly could hear two voices, the soft muffle of Riley but also there was another timbre that seemed familiar and danced at the edge of his logical brain, but along with that was a 'should I tell Trick?'

He was about to but then he decided not to. There was the distinct scent of carnality that layered just beyond the door and he knew that if he drew attention to it, then perhaps Trick would rethink this entire thing and well, they could not afford that could they? Also, Patrick wasn't sure that they could take the chance of another Priest to help.

"Hold on a moment, I'm getting dressed!" Riley called as he reached for some sort of garment on the floor which happened to be Liam's sweater, as well as his own trousers, pulling them up over hips and buttoning them quickly. Fingers through hair and then he was shoving the remainder of the clothes under the bed including a pair of boxers and well whatever.

Okay, he was heading to the door and then he threw it open wide and plastered a somewhat calm look on his face. "Hey.. you." and then those words trailed off as he saw Nicky and Patrick standing there. "Nicky.. Patrick.. what a surprise, I didn't think you guys got up on the weekends until after noon?" the Patrick had only a little bit of emphasis on it.

Patrick would be very pleased to find this out because he was going to have trouble keeping his hands to himself too, especially when he was less concerned about Nicky being possessed and in danger as a background to all the sexy times. They were totally going to have a proper first date WITHOUT demonic accompaniment.

He frowned briefly at the delay and the sounds coming from behind the door. But for Trick, it didn't register until the priest opened the door looking, well, rumpled? Flustered? But strangely something else, almost like he--

Oh. Oh. Well, damn. Good for Father Walsh. Good for him.

The kind thing to do would be to excuse themselves and let the Priest sort himself out and get his mystery guest out of whatever hiding place they'd ducked into. But they had pressing matters to attend to, and well.

"We try not to make a habit of it, but uh... well, that's why we're here, Father. We have sort of a few... questions of, erm, faith? That we were hoping you could help us with? It's sort of important. Can we come in?"

In the closet -- and fully aware of the irony of this particular hiding spot -- Liam could feel his heartbeat kick into overdrive as he heard Riley's voice rise on Patrick and then the unmistakable sound of his brother's voice following. Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck. He was holding his breath now, but he was also pressing an ear to the closet door to listen to what was being said.

What were these two up to? Heaven and Hell both knew that Nicky and Trick together were magnets for trouble.

"Ah..." Riley did not dare look at the closet door, did not dare in the slightest.

But he could not just turn them away, he was supposed to be available at all times-- 24/7, it was in the job description; all hours of the day he could be woken up should the need arise and well, this was what he had to do. "Ah yes, come in come in." there was no getting around this, nor could he make any excuses. He may have decided to fornicate a little as a treat, but he would not lie and say that he had to be somewhere especially when he saw the looks in the eyes of these two.

"Come in.. I'll put on some tea I suppose." God, he hoped that closet had good enough ventilation because he was not sure how long this would take. "My door is always open to my charges." right to the kettle while he motioned toward the couch where the two of them could sit.

Nicky plopped down on the couch and then an arm across the back of it, affecting a sprawl as he regarded Patrick with a tilt of his head. "So ummmm... this is not something that we can just trust with anyone but we know you're cool, well cooler than all the other dorm fathers we've had."

Patrick considered opening the conversation with 'tell your friend they should join us for tea' but thankfully his better sense won out. They wanted Riley's help, after all, so it was probably a better idea to be more circumspect.

"Thanks, Father." Trick settled himself on the sofa beside Nicky, nodding his agreement with what his boyfriend had said. Riley was easily out-cooling all their previous dorm fathers and leaving them in the dust.

In the closet, Liam was trying to will himself to disappear like maybe he would find Narnia in here and hang out with fauns and British children until this personal hell nightmare was over. No such luck though. But there was something else that was starting to break through the sheer panic running through him. There was something just beyond the closet, something in the room with Riley, Nicky, and Trick. Something demonic. Took one to know one. What the fuck sort of danger had these two idiots gotten themselves into this time?

Trick fidgeted, glancing at Nicky once more before he took a deep breath and, well, launched into it. Neither he nor Nicky were good at subtlety. "What do you know about demonic possession?"
